Guided Meditation with Ginger&Me

Medical rearch has determined that 80% of all health challenges are due to stress. In this modern day and age, it seems that stress is present to some degree in everyone’s life. The issue is how individuals deal with their levels of stress. For some it becomes an everyday part of life. Some people don’t realise how stressed they are until it manifests in their body culminating in physical, emotional, or mental health problems. While we sometimes cannot stop stress in our lives, there are ways that we can minimise the effects of stress. Stress can also effect the skin through activation of flight and fight responses increasing levels of adrenalin and cortisol. Both these hormones can decrease blood flow to the gut and skin reducing the supply of vital oxygen and nutrients. A large part of stress can be related to feelings of guilt, poor self esteem and self worth.
